Palliative Care Australia
Closes: 30 June 2024Consultations & Surveys

Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is the national peak body for palliative care. They work closely with consumers, the palliative care workforce and their members to improve access to palliative care.

Together with Paediatric Palliative Care Australia & New Zealand, Palliative Care Australia is currently leading the Shaping the Future of Paediatric Palliative Care project to strengthen the delivery of paediatric palliative care. Outcomes of the project will be focussed on increasing workforce skills, developing clinical guidelines, improving referral strategies, and creating a Transition Pathway for young people and families transitioning between paediatric and adult palliative care services.

PCA values parents, carers, and young people as partners in research projects. By co-designing activities together, PCA believes that their work and initiatives will reflect real experiences, needs and aspirations.
