The webinar will be presented by CHF and will provide an update about our work on these two important areas. The webinar can be accessed at bit.ly/CHFwebinarJuly13
Private Health Insurance is a major area of concern for health consumers and one of our main areas of advocacy. The Senate has set up an Inquiry look at the value and affordability of private health insurance and out-of-pocket medical costs. The terms of reference for the Inquiry can be found here: http://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Committees/Senate/Community_Affairs/Privatehealthinsurance
The Committee undertaking the Inquiry has called for submission with a closing date of 28 July 2017. We need your help to make sure that the consumers voice is strong in the Inquiry. In the Webinar we will provide an overview of our views on these issues and ask for your feedback on them.
Pharmacy Remuneration and Regulation is another of CHF’s key areas of interest and advocacy. The Interim Report of the Review of Pharmacy Remuneration and Regulation has just been released. It can be accessed here: http://www.health.gov.au/pharmacyreview#InterimReport.
Consultations to the review are open until 23 July 2017 - we would like submissions that give input to our response by 14 July 2017. If you would like to give your own response, you can add your own submission or complete a survey here: https://consultations.health.gov.au/pbd-pharmacy-review/submissions/
