Open Disclosure factsheet feedback

Thank you for your interest in contributing to this feedback forum. We have received enough applications to fill the two focus groups and experssions of interest are now closed.

Thousands of Australians use health service organisations every day. While most people experience good health care, sometimes things go wrong. When this happens, a process called Open Disclosure facilitates a discussion between the health service and the person receiving care and/or their support people such as family, friend, carer or advocate.

CHF is establishing two Consumer Feedback Groups to provide feedback on the content and design of an Open Disclosure fact sheet (general consumers) and Starting an Open Disclosure Process sheet (consumers with some knowledge or experience of the Open Disclosure process) for the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care.

Participants will be paid for the two meetings in mid-March and mid-April plus one hour reading time allotted for each meeting.

The information you provide will be kept confidential. Your expression of interest will be assessed by an independent panel based on merit. If you have any questions, please contact Dr Penelope Bergen, Policy Officer Quality Use of Medicines at
