Private Health Insurance Policy Project
This project aimed to facilitate ongoing consumer input to the development and implementation of private health insurance government policy and to develop and disseminate improved consumer information in relation to private health insurance and the Prostheses List. The project objectives were:
- Relevant and timely consumer advice on policy and program matters dealt with in the Private Health Insurance Branch
- Facilitated communication between private health insurance stakeholders and health consumer groups
- Consumer representative participation in consultative committees to provide advice to the Government on private health insurance issues and regulation.
The Private Health Insurance Policy Project 2010-11 was funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
This project concluded in June 2011.
