It can be helpful to devise a system that allows you to associate the transcript with the person’s name, but you cannot write the person’s name on their transcript. You could label transcript and consent form with the same identifying number. Store them separately to protect anonymity. You must delete audio files from any audio-recording equipment you use. It’s your responsibility to ensure you know and comply with national privacy legislation.
