The webinar will give insights into Australian priorities from leaders in the sector and an opportunity to discuss big issues that we hope to see progress on in 2021

Hear from Dr Brendan Murphy, Secretary for the Department of Health, about the Government's priorities for health that we should be aware of and opportunities for consumers to engage on key matters.

Amanda Cattermole, CEO of the Australian Digital Health Agency, highlights current trends and upcoming initiatives on all things digital health and the opportunities for consumers to engage. This includes consumer experience of telehealth and My Health Record.

Christine Morgan, CEO of the National Mental Health Commission and National Suicide Prevention Adviser to Prime Minister, focusses on what is needed for mental health and suicide prevention reforms across all touchpoints of the national system and how policy and services will, or should, change to the benefit of consumers.

Professor Ruth Stewart, the National Rural Health Commissioner will draw on her rich experience as a Rural Generalist doctor, a medical educator, advanced skills as a GP specialist obstetrician and her research interest in quality of rural maternity services and sustainable models of rural health care to discuss challenges for rural and remote consumers and policy and programs in the pipeline.

Professor Ruth Stewart was unable to join this webinar and will deliver her presentation at a later date.
