The Australian Digital Health Agency has established the Council for Connected Care, which provides advice on matters related to connecting care and supports the implementation of the National Healthcare Interoperability Plan 2023-2028.

The fourth meeting of the Council is due to take place in February. The theme of the meeting is Information Sharing as a key priority area to improve decision making and outcomes, by helping to reduce clinical risks and inefficiencies.

There is currently an opportunity for up to 5 consumers to participate to this meeting, which is due to take place face-to-face in Sydney on 22 February 2024 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Selected consumers will participate by providing insights into their perspectives on Information Sharing. Consumers will attend briefings and take part in discussions that will inform and direct the day's activities. They will also take part in break-out sessions on sub-topics related to Information Sharing.

You do not need to be an expert in research or informatics.

Consumers will be paid for their time at the current rate of $448. Additionally, travel and accommodation assistance will be provided for people who do not usually reside in Sydney.

All expressions of interest will be assessed on merit by an independent panel, with an aim to generate a diverse range of perspectives. Applicants will be selected from all over Australia. People from Rural and Remote areas are welcome and encouraged to apply.

If you have any questions please contact CHF Policy Officer, Giacomo Romagnoli at g.romagnoli@chf.org.au.
