CHF is made up of member organisations from around Australia. These members include state peak health consumer organisations and networks dedicated to particular health conditions and objectives. CHF's members are highly valued partners in the effort to make the consumer perspective a priority for decision makers.
Criteria to become a Voting Member
Organisations seeking voting membership must fulfil the following criteria.
Voting membership is open to organisations:
- that represent the interests of consumers on health matters rather than professional, provider or commercial interests
- whose membership is open to consumers or consumer organisations
- that can elect consumers or consumer organisations to the governing body of the organisation and
- that fully support the aims and objectives of the Consumers Health Forum.
When applying for voting membership, please attach a copy of the organisation's constitution and its aims and objectives and other documentation that demonstrates how the organisation meets these criteria.
