CHF is leading the development of the 2024 National Consumer Sentiment Survey. The survey aims to increase understanding of the health system from a consumer point of view, to improve the delivery and planning of healthcare services in our communities.

The survey is expected to focus on people’s experiences of, and access to health care, as well as individuals’ knowledge and skills to manage their own health.

There is currently an opportunity for up to 20 consumers to provide feedback on current survey themes - as well as suggesting new ones - by participating in one of two online workshops to be held on:

Workshop 1: Tuesday 20th of February 2024, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM (AEDT)

or

Workshop 2: Thursday 22nd of February 2024, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM (AEDT)

You do not need to be an expert in research to participate in this consultation.

Consumers will be paid at a rate of $89.60 per hour, for a total of two hours (90-minute focus group and 30 minutes for pre-reading requirements). The total amount reimbursed to each participating consumer will be $179.20.

All expressions of interest will be assessed by an independent panel based on merit, with an aim to generate a diverse range of perspectives. If you have any questions please contact CHF Policy Officer, Giacomo Romagnoli at g.romagnoli@chf.org.au.

We expect selection will be made in mid-February. We recommend you submit your EOI by 9am on 5 February, 2024 (AEST). If you are successful, we’ll be in touch prior to the meeting with some brief background information and a link to join us online.

The information provided in your expression of interest will be kept confidential.
