CHF partners formally and informally with a range of organisations to further its mission. We also work with stakeholders to embed consumer engagement and views into their initiatives or to find suitable consumers to sit on panels or other advisory bodies.
Our key partner (and primary funder) is the Australian Government’s Department of Health and Aged Care. We are funded under various programs including the Health Peak Advisory Body and the Strengthening Medicare Program.
Other current partners include:
Australian Digital Health Agency which contracts us to provide consumer insights into digital health initiatives
Medicines Australia which produces the Working Together Guide which outlines how consumer organisations and pharmaceutical companies can interact
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care on various aspects of consumer engagement
Australian Multicultural Health Collaborative on engagement of people from culturally and linguistically diverse background in primary care reform
