CHF has been funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) to lead a targeted education campaign for healthcare consumers, to support the rollout of the third wave of new 60-day prescriptions.
The availability of more Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) medicines on 60-day scripts gives many Australians twice the amount of their medication on a single prescription, where it is safe to do so.
The campaign aims to drive awareness of the availability of 60-day prescriptions and the new medicines that are now available. This work follows previous work by CHF on the first and second 60-day tranches during 2023-24.
This work included the development and hosting of a microsite (60dayscripts) and various communications and consumer engagement activities.
