As part of the Commonwealth's Strengthening Medicare primary healthcare reforms, CHF has been funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care (DOHAC) to run up to five consumer engagement roundtables each year between July 2023-June 2027.
The purpose of each roundtable is to learn in-depth about consumer experiences with and attitudes towards sections of the primary healthcare system.
The specific areas are agreed upon between DOHAC and CHF based on government and consumer priorities. From these roundtables we develop policy recommendations to shape reform and address the issues identified by consumers.
